Scheele Piano Studio Policy
2023-24 School Year
*Lessons are 30 minutes in length and will be held weekly.
*$110 monthly tuition covers all scheduled lessons, books, materials, & supplies. Payment is due at the first lesson of each month. (During the summer months, payment is only due in June & July)
*A minimum of 32 lessons will be scheduled during the school year (Sept-May). Any lessons cancelled by me that drop the total number of lessons below 32 will be arranged to be made up. The current calendar has more than 32 lessons scheduled on some days of the week which will allow for a "flex day" during the school year. The day that lessons will be cancelled to use the flex day will be at my discretion. A minimum of 7 lessons will be held during the summer months (June-Aug). 2023-24 Studio Calendar
*Payments can be made with cash, check (payable to Jennifer Scheele), through Paypal (jenniferscheele@gmail.com), Venmo (@jennifer-scheele-piano), or through Zelle Quick Pay with Chase. Payments made directly through the link on the invoice will be processed with Stripe and will incur a $1.00 processing fee. There will be a $10 late fee added to all payments not received by the 10th of the month and a $30 for any checks returned NSF.
*If you have a conflict with your lesson time, you should first attempt to swap lesson times with another student. If that is not possible, one makeup lesson is allowed per quarter (Sept-Nov/Dec-Feb/Mar-May) with 24 hour advance notice. During the summer months, more flexibility is allowed for makeup lessons due to vacations and lessons can be made up with 24 hour advance notice.
*If your child is sick, I ask that you please keep them home. Lessons can be switched to an online format through Zoom with minimal notice if you need to keep your child home due to illness or inclement weather. If I am sick, I will switch lessons to an online format. Lessons should not be switched to an online format simply out of convenience, but should be limited to illness or inclement weather if possible.
*I request a two week notice if you plan to discontinue lessons. There are no refunds for lessons discontinued mid-month after monthly tuition has been paid. For lessons discontinued during the school year, the minimum number of lessons policy will not apply.
